In November Gateshead Borough Council selected Acrol Modular Buildings Limited as there preferred contractor to procure the Design and Construction of a Transportable Modular Building for their SureStart at the Jewish Children's Centre, Gateshead.
During the project briefing process the project architect and client responsible for funding the project were clear in there selection and specification of materials insisting on "Fit for Purpose" criteria being quality and robust products.
The client also insisted that the project timescale was critical to the success of the delivery being "On Time" and "On Budget".
In August the project was delivered to site in accordance with the programmed timescale. Practical completion was achieved in complete accordance with the programmed target dates.
I can confirm the project was well received by the architect, client and end users of the building.
Your co-operation during the procurement of doors and windows must be acknowledged. Your timely delivery and attention to quality played an important part in the success of this project. I can inform you that end users of the building all remakred on the quality standards of the doors and windows.
Furthermore I am pleased to inform you that we have been commissioned by Newcastle City Council as their Preferred Contractor for future SureStart projects expected this coming year. The clients and designers from Newcastle City Council have visited the Jewish Children's Centre and have noted and remarked on the quality of the door and window products used on the project. |
